The one-man drama, VIANNEY, has been touring the nation, inspiring thousands. Holy Family Church brings it to Syracuse Thursday, March 18. The play is being sponsored by Holy Family's Vocations Committee, in honor of the Priesthood in the Syracuse Diocese, and seeks to enlighten young people on the importance of vocations. Working in a rural French parish after the fall of Napoleon, he brought a worldy people to Christ as he struggled physically with the Devil. Vianney was canonized in 1925. The drama is put on by the nationally-known St. Luke Productions, whose other shows include tributes to St. Augustine, St. Francis and Saint Therese. Come and be inspired! |
