How do I get my child baptized at Holy Family?
    Call Sr.Caryn at 488-3139, x23 to make arrangements. At least one of the parents must be a member of the parish. The godparents must be practicing Catholics. Godparents that are not members of Holy Family must get a certificate from their parish certifying that they members.

How do I get married at Holy Family?
    To celebrate the sacrament of marriage, please make an appointment to see a priest or deacon at least six months beforehand. At least one party must be a Catholic. If you are not a member of Holy Family, you need a dispensation from your home parish.

How do I schedule a funeral at Holy Family?
    Funeral Masses are scheduled through a funeral home. A memorial Mass, in memory of someone who has passed away, may be arranged by calling the parish office at 488-3139.

How do I enroll my child in the Bishop's Academy at Holy Family?
    Enrollment forms at available at the school and through this web site by clicking here. To learn more about the school, click here or call 487-8515.

Does a student have to be Catholic to go to Bishop's Academy at Holy Family School?
    No. All students are welcome, Catholic and non-Catholic, parishioners and non-parishioners.

I am having troubles in my personal life. Is there someone I can talk to?

May I receive Communion without going to confession?
    If one is not in mortal sin, one is allowed to receive Communion. We're all encouraged to participate in the sacrament of reconciliation at least once a year. This is historically known as Easter Duty.

I would like a priest or deacon to visit my house. What do I do?
    Contact Fr. Richard Prior, Fr. Phil Brockmyre, Fr. Cleophas Tuka or Deacon Nick Alvaro by calling the office at 488-3139.

I would like a priest or deacon to visit someone in the hospital. What do I do?
    Call the office at 488-3139 to ensure the person's name is on the sick list. The priests and Deacon Nick Alvaro each attempt to visit each hospital once a week. The sick list is for those who wish members of the parish to pray for them.

I am too ill to come to church. Can someone bring me the Eucharist?
    Call Sr. Caryn at 488-3139, x23 to make arrangements.

How does the church help people grieving over a death?
    If you would like to meet with a priest or deacon, please call the office at 488-3139 to set up an appointment. Also, the parish has a Berievement Committee. It holds regular meetings to help people cope with a loss.

How do I arrange for last rites?
    One can receive the sacrament of anointing of the sick anytime one is suffering from a serious illness. Contact the office to arrange for a priest to visit. Please, don't wait until the last minute.

I am a member of another faith. How do I become a Catholic?
    Contact our clergy at 488-3139 for faith inquiry classes. This will help you learn about what it means to be a Catholic.

How do I become a Eucharistic minister or lector?
    Contact Deacon Nick at 488-3139 for information on training in this ministry. Eucharist ministers help during Mass by distributing the Body and Blood of Christ. Lectors read the first two readings during Mass. Eucharistic ministers and lectors need only to be confirmed and commissioned.

How can my child become an altar server?
    Contact Deacon Nick at 488-3139 for information on training as an altar server. Children must be at least in fourth-grade. Children will receive training.

How do I get my marriage annulled?
    Call a priest at 488-3139 to learn more about annullment. This is a determination that a marriage was never valid in the eyes of the church. It is a two-step process: a fact sheet that must be filled out and then a detailed inquiry into the circumstances of the marriage. The administrative fee for the fact sheet is $50, and the fee for the inquiry is $450. The parish can provide support for that cost.
